The Bender B #21-1 (2055’ FSL; 2279’ FEL Sec. 21-T15S-R14W, Russell, County, KS) was spud as an infield development well January 19, 2023. Southwind Drilling Rig #1 provided rotary tools, Russell Oil Exploration Geologist Kitt Noah provided on-site geological supervision. The well was drilled into the Arbuckle zone. A total of 7 drill stem tests were run but no commercial reserves were encountered. The well was plugged as a dry hole January 30, 2022. The well site was situated 10 miles south, 2 miles west of Russell, Kansas.
