The FDD Unit #1-33 (1320’ FNL’ 2145’ FEL Sec. 33-T15-R14W, Russell County, KS) was spud January 5, 2024, and drilled to a 3450’ RTD. The development test was successful and 5.50” production casing was set and cemented at 3449’ on January 11, 2024, under direction of Production and Drilling Superintendent Todd Brown. Southwind Drilling Rig #1 provided rotary tools. A total of two drill stem tests were run by Diamond Testing. Russell Oil Exploration Geologist Kitt Noah provided on-site geological supervision.
