The Bowie #29-3 (2178’ FNL; 1006’ FEL Sec. 29-T11S-R32W, Logan County, KS) well was spud December 19, 2022. New 5.50” production casing set. A total of 5 drill stem tests were run on the well. Murfin Drilling Rig #8 provided rotary tools. Russell Oil Exploration Geologist Kitt Noah provided on-site geological supervision. The decision was made to complete the Bowie #29-3 as an injection well. Todd Brown, Russell Oil Drilling/Production Superintendent provided well completion supervision. Injection application was made with the Kansas Corporation Commission and approved. Injection commenced on May 4, 2023. The well site is situated 5 miles southwest of Oakley, Kansas.
