Location preparation is completed for the upcoming wildcat test at the McElree-Orr A #30-1 (1895’ FNL; 1470’ FEL Sec. 30-T15S-R36W) in Logan County, KS. The well is scheduled to commence drilling operations January 11, 2016. The rank wildcat well is located 4 miles west/southwest of the recently discovered Ritchie Exploration, Inc. Wing Field in Section 23-T15S-R26W. The well is slated to drill a projected 4850’ RTD to test the Kansas City, Marmaton and Mississippi formations. Southwind Drilling, Inc. (Ellinwood, KS) Rig #8 is providing rotary drilling services. Kitt Noah is slated to provide geological well site supervision of the wildcat test.
