KCC approval has been granted for the upcoming Don Brown A Unit #28-1 (2460’ FSL; 1795’ FWL Sec. 28-T10S-R12W) in Osborne County, KS. The well is scheduled to drill to a projected 3900’ RTD to test the Kansas City and Arbuckle formations. Southwind Drilling, Inc. Rig #2 is providing rotary drilling services with an estimated January 23, 2015 spud date. Kitt Noah is slated to provide geological well site supervision of the wildcat test.

Additionally, KCC approval has been granted for the Charles #1-16 (330’ FNL; 1100’ FWL Sec.16-T16S-R14W) in Barton County, KS. Projected RTD is 3450, a depth sufficient to the Kansas City and Arbuckle formations. Southwind Drilling, Inc. Rig #2 is providing rotary drilling services with an estimated spud immediately following the Don Brown A Unit well. Kitt Noah is slated to provide geological well site supervision of the wildcat test.
