The FDD Unit #2-33 (1342’; 1650’ FEL Sec. 33-T15-R14W, Russell County, KS) was spud May 6, 2024, and drilled to a 3450’ RTD. The development test was successful and 5.50” production casing was set and cemented May 13, 2024, under supervision of Drilling & Production Superintendent Todd A. Brown. Southwind Drilling Rig #1 provided rotary tools. A total of 7 drill stem tests were run by Diamond Testing. Russell Oil Exploration Geologist Kitt Noah provided on-site geological supervision. The drill site is located approximately 1 ½ miles east of the Milberger townsite.
