The Nuss-Dietz Unit #1-33 (388’ FNL; 2644’ FEL Sec. 33-T15S-R14W, Russell County, KS) was spud by May 31, 2022, and subsequently plugged as a dry hole on June 8, 2022. Southwind Drilling Rig #1 provided rotary tools. Poor zone development confirmed with negative drill stem testing and open hole log evaluation was cited as determining factors in the decision to P & A. Russell Oil Exploration Geologist Kitt Noah provided on-site geological supervision. The well site was situated 12 miles southwest of Russell, Kansas.
